Steps Beyond

Paralyzed by a spinal cord injury in 2010, Mark Pollock looked to his experiences as an adventure athlete to recover. With the simple idea that moving was better than staying still, Mark has been on a quest to cure paralysis in our lifetime.

Context

Ekso Bionics designs and builds the EksoGT, a medical device that helps spinal cord injury and stroke patients relearn to walk. My team at Ekso was approached by the Mark Pollock Trust, an organization working to cure paralysis, to make a film inspiring donors to contribute to the cure.
