Look Up

Without the money to stay in school in his hometown of Guinea, Moustapha moved to the US to seek education and support his family. As a Street Soccer USA goalkeeper and coach, he has learned to look up, tackle challenges with confidence, and share his optimism with others.

Context

Street Soccer USA is a nonprofit organization that fights poverty and empowers underserved communities through soccer. I told the story of how the organization changed the life of one of its players. The film was released as a part of Street Soccer’s $2.5M Raise campaign in the summer of 2019.
